Waitrose   Waitrose Branch Manager, Ian Burdekin, comments

"The Wimborne Food Festival is an extremely important event in the town's calendar, and one that we are especially delighted to be able to sponsor. We are passionate about supporting local producers, and with over 2,500 local and regional products sold throughout our stores, we feel that our funding of the festival further builds on this commitment.

This year we'll hopefully be able to encourage even more people to come and visit the festival and find out about the delicious food and drink that Wimborne, and it's talented producers, have to offer. I'm especially looking forward to talking to local producers and tasting any new and unusual products that we may be able to stock in the future.

Throughout the weekend we will be sampling the Waitrose products as well as demonstrating some of our delicious recipes, all of which can be found on our website.

We even have a jazz band coming to the show in order to get people in the mood for trying and buying local produce."
